Are there people in heaven?

In John 3:13 we read this,: "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."

Who ascended in heaven? Who came down from heaven? The answer is the " Son of man".

Now who is the Son of man? The term, Son of man, is used by Jesus 80 times as a way to refer to himself (32 times in Matthew; 14 times in Mark; 26 times in Luke; and 10 times in a qualitatively different way from the Synoptic Gospels in John). 

The question is are there really people in heaven now?

The answer is a big YES!

Who are they?

In Genesis 5:24  it says:' "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him".

God took Enoc, and where God was, Enoch was also there. God is in heaven therefore Enoc is also in heaven.

Another man who is in heaven now is Prophet Ilijah.  We can read in  2 Kings 2:11" And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

It is very clear that Prophet Elijah went up in heaven by a whirlwind.

Another person in the bible who has reached  heaven is the Apostle John.

We can read this in Revelation 4:1" After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."

It is very clear that someone in heaven talked with Apostle John and said to him;," Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
